The Second Machine Age: Work, Progress, and Prosperity in a Time of Brilliant Technologies is a New York Times best-selling book written by Erik Brynjolfsson and Andrew McAfee. Ultimately, it argues that our society is currently in the ‘Second Machine Age’, a time of great technological revolution and economic potential not seen on this scale since the Industrial Revolution. This review will analyze the arguments and concepts introduced throughout the book.
